Forder Valley Link Road, Plymouth

We’re proud to be working with main contractor Balfour Beatty on the new Forder Valley Link Road, Plymouth. One of Plymouth’s biggest ever infrastructure schemes, this one-kilometre road linking William Prance Road in Derriford and the Forder Valley Road/Novorossiysk Road junction will be a key link between the A38 and the north of the city, where new homes and businesses are planned as Plymouth grows.

The road will run along a new bridge across Bircham Valley, with a larger, relocated signalised junction at the Forder Valley Road/Novorossiysk Road intersection and improved bus reliability and new and improved pedestrian and cycle facilities.

Ainsworth Civils’ remit includes the new road bridge across Bircham Valley, two retaining walls and a culvert.
